# Use AI idea generation to create new ideas from a prompt

## Why this feature is needed

Users do not always want to start from a blank page when submitting a new idea. AI idea generation helps users create a first draft based on a short prompt or keyword, so they can move faster and submit ideas with a clearer title and description.

This is especially useful when users want inspiration, need help formulating an idea, or are contributing inside a campaign, [Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/de/encyclopedia/mission/), or other submission context with a specific briefing.

## What this feature is

AI idea generation is an AI supported submission feature in [Accept Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/de/encyclopedia/accept-mission/) that helps users generate draft ideas from a prompt. The system creates one or more suggested ideas and formulates a proposed title and short description for each option.

This feature is part of [Accept Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/de/encyclopedia/accept-mission/) AI. It supports idea creation, but it does not replace user judgment. Generated ideas should be reviewed, refined, and made specific before submission.

The generated output is context aware. This means the AI takes into account the place where the idea is created. For example, when a user generates an idea inside a campaign or [Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/de/encyclopedia/mission/), the AI will try to stay within the briefing and scope of that campaign or [Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/de/encyclopedia/mission/). When used in another funnel or submission context, it will use the available context of that location to shape the result.

## Access level

[Normal User](https://www.acceptmission.com/de/encyclopedia/normal-user/)

Prerequisites: [Accept Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/de/encyclopedia/accept-mission/) AI must be enabled for the environment, and sufficient AI credits must be available.

## Navigation path

Navigation path: Innovation Portal → Submit idea → Generate with AI

Depending on how your environment is configured, the same AI generation option can also appear wherever manual idea submission is available, such as within a campaign, [Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/de/encyclopedia/mission/), or other submission flow.

## How to use this feature

AI idea generation starts from the same place where a user would normally add an idea manually. Instead of entering the title and description from scratch, the user selects the AI option and provides a prompt or keyword. The AI then returns one or more suggested ideas that the user can choose from.

The quality of the result depends on the context available in the submission area and on the quality of the prompt entered by the user. More specific prompts usually produce more relevant idea suggestions.

## Step by step instructions

1. Go to the place where you want to submit a new idea.
2. Select **Submit idea**.
3. Choose **Generate with AI** instead of entering the idea manually.
4. Enter a prompt or a set of keywords in the prompt field.
5. Select **Generate**.
6. Review the generated suggestions shown by the system.
7. Select the idea that best matches your intended direction.
8. Review the generated title and description on the idea form.
9. Edit the content to make it more specific, complete, and relevant to your use case.
10. Submit the idea when the draft is ready.

## Configuration and adjustments

This feature depends on [Accept Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/de/encyclopedia/accept-mission/) AI being available in the environment. If AI is not enabled, or if there are not enough AI credits available, users will not be able to use AI idea generation.

Because the feature works within the context where the idea is created, the quality of results is also influenced by the setup of the surrounding process. Clear campaign briefings, well defined funnel goals, and specific submission context help the AI produce more relevant suggestions.

Users should not submit AI generated ideas without review. The recommended approach is to treat the generated result as a first draft, then improve the wording, add missing details, and align the idea with the actual business objective.

## Practical example – Innovationlands

Innovationlands wants to collect new attraction concepts for one of its innovation missions. A contributor opens the [Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/de/encyclopedia/mission/) in the Innovation Portal and selects **Submit idea**. Instead of writing from scratch, the contributor chooses **Generate with AI** and enters the prompt *AI powered theme park attraction for families*.

Because the idea is created inside a [Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/de/encyclopedia/mission/) with a clear briefing, the AI generates suggestions that fit the [Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/de/encyclopedia/mission/) scope. The user reviews the options and selects the most relevant one. The generated title and short description are added to the idea form automatically.

Before submitting, the contributor improves the draft by adding more operational detail, explaining the guest experience, and clarifying why the concept fits Innovationlands. This gives the review team a better quality input for the funnel and supports stronger evaluation later in the process.

In this example, AI idea generation speeds up the first draft, but the final quality still depends on the user refining the content before submission.
