[Accept Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/pt/encyclopedia/accept-mission/) B.V. is a Dutch company based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

## 2) Controller and processor roles

[Accept Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/pt/encyclopedia/accept-mission/) is built for companies and innovation teams. Data protection law distinguishes between a controller and a processor.

### Customer as controller ([Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/pt/encyclopedia/mission/) content)

The organization or person that creates or contracts for a [Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/pt/encyclopedia/mission/) (the “Customer”) controls the personal data and content submitted into that [Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/pt/encyclopedia/mission/) (“Customer Data”).

We process Customer Data on the Customer’s instructions to provide the Services.

### [Accept Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/pt/encyclopedia/accept-mission/) as controller (platform and website operations)

We are the controller for account data, billing, website usage data, security logs, and other data needed to run [Accept Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/pt/encyclopedia/accept-mission/) as a business (“Other Data”).

If you have questions about how a specific [Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/pt/encyclopedia/mission/) is configured, contact the Customer that invited you to that [Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/pt/encyclopedia/mission/).

## 3) Personal data we collect

We collect personal data in three main ways:

### A. Data you provide

- Account data: name, email address, username, company name, role, profile photo, and account settings.

- Communications: messages and information you send to us (for example support requests and feedback).
- Billing data (paid plans): billing contact details, invoices, payment status, and related administrative data. Payment card details are handled by our payment providers.

### B. Data collected automatically

- Integrations enabled by a Customer or Authorized User: limited data needed to authenticate, deliver messages, or operate an integration. We do not receive third-party passwords.

## 4) Why we use personal data

We use personal data to:

- Provide the Services (accounts, authentication, [Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/pt/encyclopedia/mission/) access, platform functionality).
- Enable collaboration and visibility inside a [Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/pt/encyclopedia/mission/) (permissions, activity history, and auditability).
- Process subscriptions, invoicing, and payments (paid plans).
- Secure the Services (fraud prevention, abuse detection, incident response).
- Maintain and improve performance (analytics, troubleshooting, product improvements).
- Communicate with you (service messages, administrative updates, and responses to requests).

## 5) Legal bases for processing (GDPR)

We process personal data under one or more of these legal bases:

- Contract: to provide the Services you or your organization requested.
- Legitimate interests: to secure, improve, and grow the Services, prevent misuse, and maintain business operations.
- Consent: for optional marketing communications and certain cookies where required. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: to meet tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.

## 6) Sharing and disclosure

We share personal data only when needed:

- Service providers (processors): hosting, storage, analytics, communications, support tooling, billing, and payment processing, under contracts and instructions.
- Within a [Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/pt/encyclopedia/mission/): the Customer and other Authorized Users can access data based on [Mission](https://www.acceptmission.com/pt/encyclopedia/mission/) permissions and settings.
