Why this feature is needed #
Ideas are often submitted with a short title or a brief description. That can be enough to capture an initial thought, but it is usually not enough to evaluate the idea properly. Reviewers need context, a clearer Problem statement, a more complete Solution description, and a better understanding of the expected impact.
Enrich ideas with AI helps turn short input into a more structured and detailed idea description. This makes ideas easier to review, compare, score, and move through the funnel.
What this feature is #
Enrich ideas with AI is an AI powered feature in Accept Mission that expands an existing idea description into more complete and structured content. The feature uses the idea title and current description as input and rewrites the description into a clearer version that is easier to evaluate.
This feature supports idea quality within the broader innovation workflow. It helps contributors improve submissions in the Innovation Portal and helps power users improve idea clarity in the Innovation Studio before evaluation and scoring.
Access level #
Normal User: Can enrich their own idea before submitting it in the Innovation Portal, when the feature is available in that flow.
Power User: Can enrich ideas directly inside an idea funnel in the Innovation Studio.
Admin: Can configure whether ideas are enriched automatically in funnel Lane settings.

How to use this feature #
When you use Enrich ideas with AI, Accept Mission reviews the current idea title and description and generates a more complete version of the description. The enriched text replaces the previous description in the editor, so it should always be reviewed before final submission or evaluation.
This feature is especially useful when ideas are still short, unclear, or missing context. It can help create a stronger basis for scoring and Decision-making.
Step by step instructions #
- Open the idea you want to improve.
- Go to AI tools at the top of the idea page.
- Select Enrich idea automatically or Enrich with agent.
- Wait while Accept Mission analyzes the title and current description.
- Review the enriched description that is generated.
- Adjust the text if needed to make sure it matches the intended idea.
- Save the idea or continue with submission or evaluation.

Configuration and adjustments #
Admins can configure automatic enrichment in the Lane settings of an idea funnel. This controls whether new ideas entering that Lane are enriched automatically.
The available options are:
- No – ideas are not enriched automatically.
- Always – every new idea is enriched automatically.
- Only item is <100 words – only shorter ideas are enriched automatically.
These settings help standardize idea quality across the funnel while still allowing users and managers to review the final text.

Practical example – Innovationlands #
Innovationlands uses an idea funnel to collect visitor experience improvements from employees and park teams. A frontline employee submits an idea called Interactive waiting line with only a short description.
Before the idea is reviewed, the employee uses Enrich idea in the Innovation Portal. Accept Mission expands the description into a clearer proposal that explains the Problem, the proposed Solution, and the expected visitor benefit.
Later, the Innovationlands park innovation lead reviews the idea in the Innovation Studio. Because the enriched description is clearer, the idea can be scored more consistently against criteria such as guest experience impact, feasibility, and strategic fit. If the score is strong enough, the idea can move forward in the funnel and be prepared for a Decision moment.
This helps Innovationlands improve idea quality early, reduce weak submissions, and create a better basis for structured evaluation.
